1. Acceptance of these terms
By using scepterix.com or any Scepterix product, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. About us

3. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Pakistani law.
- The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
- We may ask you to verify your identity (for example, a CNIC for sellers and service providers) and may refuse or suspend accounts we cannot verify.
4. Our services
Scepterix builds and runs digital products, including OffOnMyCard (a comparison of card offers), FlowCity (smart-city traffic software licensed to government bodies), DiscountSplit (escrow-based split payments), MedsForHalf (a resale marketplace for sealed products) and GoldMarketPK (a gold jewellery marketplace, coming soon). Some products are in development or in limited release. Their features may change, and they may be offered under additional product-specific terms.
OffOnMyCard shows offer information based on data from banks and public sources. Offers are set by the banks and can change without notice. Always check final terms with your bank or the merchant. We do not guarantee any particular discount.
5. Payments & pricing
- All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include or exclude applicable taxes as shown at checkout.
- Card payments are processed by SBP-licensed payment gateways such as [GATEWAY PARTNER NAME]. By paying, you also accept the gateway's terms. Scepterix does not store card data.
- Platform, service and processing fees are shown before you confirm a payment.
- Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Escrow payment terms Legal review
- For escrow transactions, funds are held by the licensed payment gateway, not by Scepterix. Scepterix does not hold client money in a pooled or intermediary account.
- Funds are released on the agreed conditions (client confirmation, milestone approval or the end of the release window) and paid directly to the service provider, with the platform fee paid separately.
- Supported transaction values are PKR 2,000 to PKR 500,000 per transaction, subject to the gateway's limits and checks.
- Scepterix acts as a technology provider and dispute facilitator. It is not a party to the underlying service contract between client and provider, and it is not a bank or deposit-taking institution.
7. Marketplace rules Legal review
- Only sealed, unopened, in-date and lawfully registered products in eligible categories may be listed.
- Prescription-only medicines, controlled substances, counterfeit, expired or tampered goods, and products that need a cold chain are strictly prohibited.
- Sellers are responsible for making sure their listings follow the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) rules and all other applicable laws. We may remove listings, withhold payouts during investigations, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
Gold trading (GoldMarketPK) Legal review
Prices on GoldMarketPK are tied to the prevailing gold rate when the deal is made. Any savings shown are illustrative, not guaranteed. Transactions complete only after purity and authenticity verification. Identity checks and record-keeping for high-value gold transactions will follow applicable Pakistani anti-money-laundering and tax requirements.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use our services to break any law; commit fraud or money laundering; infringe anyone's rights; upload malware; scrape, reverse-engineer or overload our systems; get around security or verification; or impersonate any person or organisation.
9. Intellectual property
The Scepterix name, scepter emblem, logos, software, designs and content belong to Scepterix or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use our services for their intended purpose. You keep ownership of content you upload, and you give us a licence to host and display it so we can provide the service.
10. Third-party services
Our services rely on or link to third parties, including banks, payment gateways, courier companies, map providers and hosting providers. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their services.
11. Disclaimers
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. FlowCity outputs support decisions. They do not replace the judgement of qualified traffic authorities.
12. Limitation of liability Legal review
As far as the law allows, Scepterix is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profit or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Scepterix in the three months before the claim (excluding amounts held in escrow by gateways), or PKR 50,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Scepterix against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your listings or services, or your misuse of our products.
14. Suspension & termination
You can stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if the law or a regulator requires it, or to protect users and the platform. Funds held in escrow at the time will be handled under section 6 and the gateway's rules.
15. Governing law & disputes Legal review
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Before starting formal proceedings, both sides will try to resolve any dispute in good faith within 30 days. If that fails, the courts at [CITY], Pakistan, will have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change, and for significant changes we will give notice on the site or by email. If you keep using our services after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
